We are here. The needs in our community and our challenges are greater than ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ever-rising cost of living in the Bay Area, economic hardships, and inequity. Our Catholic Charities programs and services are essential as we rebuild together and work toward equity and opportunity for all.

Our critical services today reflect our flexible response to the deepening crisis our neighbors experience:

• Providing robust problem solving to move families out of homelessness;
• Helping San Francisco families and individuals, regardless of immigration status, remain housed by providing temporary financial assistance for rent, medical bills, groceries, and utilities;
• Conducting hundreds of in-person and phone interviews and consultations with immigrants;
• Providing care, comfort, and safety to the many adults with HIV/AIDS living at our four residential programs; and
• Offering compassionate, therapeutic care to children and youth who have been traumatized, neglected, abused, and/or who are coming out of the juvenile justice system at our residential care program
